P14. Modeling Characteristics, Cost and Benefit Analysis of Humanoid as Brain Impairment Treatment on Malaysian Children

Investigations on the implications of brain impairment treatment applications on human in terms of humanoid cost, benefits and characteristics are proposed. It incorporates the economic and marketing implications of the use of technology in treating brain impairment that provide insights and guidelines to curtail unanticipated economic problems. From past studies, humanoid robots provide economic benefits to teachers and parents of autistic child. However, evidences on the economic benefits on brain-impaired children have been lacking. The fundamental study will evaluate the cost and benefits of using humanoid on brain-impaired children. From the literature reviewed, studies on humanoid within the scope of economics and marketing have been limited. Consequently, by applying the cost and benefit analysis theory in humanoid research of brain impaired children, the theory will be extended to encompass emergent factors surrounding economic and marketing variables. The expected outcomes of this study would generate a policy surrounding the new, extended theory on humanoid research involving children, built within the foundations of marketing and economic aspects.
